53,000 in Chavez Ravine last night to watch the Dodgers subdue Mike Trout. Grandal chipped in with three singles and kept Trout glued to first after his single.

Well, really, it was Pujols who kept him glued to first. Trout's having a great year -- a great year -- but I'm still a little grumpy about that.

I wasn't paying much attention to Melky but the majority of the Boys seem to have easily gotten over their shame.

On the Biogenisis Boys topic ... Grandal has the second longest average fly ball distance in MLB this year, sandwiched between Mike Stanton and Paul Goldschmidt.

I had Grandal, Ozuna, and Matt Adams at $5 for the last year of their contract for 2015 in my NL only.  I extended Ozuna and Adams to $10 thru 2016.  Oops.  :(

I know it was the right decision at the time.

(Please somebody tell me it was the right decision at the time.)

Two homers, 4-4, and eight RBI today. Maybe there's some hope for my Tout Wars team yet.

From Rotowire this morning.

Yasmani Grandal (C) LA - Feb. 3

Grandal attributed some of his 2014 struggles to the lack of strength in his surgically-repaired right knee, Los Angeles Times reports.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: All 15 of Grandal's home runs last season came while he was hitting left-handed, as the weakness in his right knee impacted him more when he was hitting right-handed (.162 AVG). After spending time this winter playing in the Dominican Republic, Grandal said that his knee feels like it's back where it was pre-surgery. The Dodgers haven't informed Grandal how they intend to divide the playing time behind the plate for their new backstop and veteran holdover A.J. Ellis, but the assumption is that the split will favor Grandal.
