A little woof for Tucker Davidson.  Picked him up in my home league before his Mets start last month and his capable outing there, plus the minor league dominance LVW noted below, persuaded me to hold him when he was sent back down (where he just racked up another 6 IP/1 ER/9 K game).

Against a Philly lineup that included a healthy Realmuto, Harper, and Segura (which they've had in only 21 of their 60 games this year) Davidson pitched exceptionally.  Don't know why he had the 5 walk hiccup in his first game back last week, but he threw 2/3 of his pitches for strikes yesterday.

Allowing a hit to reliever Tommy Hunter 0-4 in his career was his only mistake.

I was hoping for better, but the WHIP isn't horrible.

Getting the start tonight after 2 dominating AAA starts. I took a flier on him since he's facing a depleted Mets offense. I hope it works out a lot better than it did for the Cards facing a depleted Padres lineup this past weekend.
