It's actually 13 but who's counting (unless you have him)?

He's not getting his job back.

As Rotoworld spins:

07.03: Tim Beckham came off the bench to deliver a go-ahead solo homer to power the Mariners to a 5-4 win over the Cardinals in an interleague matchup on Tuesday. (Beckham ambushed a two-strike heater from Cardinals reliever Giovanny Gallegos in the eighth inning to put the Mariners ahead for good in this one. The 29-year-old shortstop has gone deep twice in his last three games and
is now up to 12 homers on the season. With burgeoning star J.P. Crawford
firmly entrenched as Seattle's everyday shortstop of the present and
future, Beckham will have to settle for a reserve role moving forward.
However, he seems like a prime candidate to be dealt to a contender at
the trade deadline later this month.)

Two singles and a homer, knocking in five, playing next to the new Mariners shortstop.

He wants his job back.

Looked fooled.  Hit a changeup or curveball from his front foot, one handed, over the fence for a three run HR.

Three errors yesterday, making it five in nine games.

It's boring out here in the field -- can't wait for my next AB.

Is that his problem?

As I posted three days ago, Tim Beckham, completely by accident, ended up on my team last Sunday. I had great batting average keeps and I thought I could afford Beckham if I got the Tuffy Rhodes Crickets Treatment when I topped somebody else's $9 bid, just pushing him along.

Which I did.

Now, thanks mainly to Tim Beckham, I find myself at the top of the batting average column after the first week.

Guess what my batting average is?

.257.

Three teams are batting under .200. A fourth team is batting .208.

I totally agree with BeanCounter, I understand people have busy lives but we only do this once a year so why rush.

Our only restriction is generally when we have to clear out of our draft room, if that's an issue.  Last year, we had to do our 3-round reserve draft in the hotel bar, which was fine.

We only do this once a year. I've never understood why people want rush to get done. Just my $.02. Your mileage may, and probably does, vary.

Ours always goes 10 hrs including lunch.  We must have the hamster wheels in our heads that start smoking when we start thinking.
