I'm working on Big Prices for the Guide. Today I have Scooter Gennett with a price of $24. What do you think?

Thank you BABIP gods for that .400 in August and that .375 this month.

With four singles last night, he now has a five-point lead in the batting race.

A race that a lot of people don't follow anymore. I like to think I do, but I have to admit, until I looked just now, if you made me guess, I would have said Yelich was ahead.

On the day that the All-Star squads are announced, he ends the day in a virtual tie with Almora for the batting crown, both hitting .326.

Matt Kemp also makes the team. As a starter.

Eugenio Suarez sits next to Scooter on the bench.

Miles Mikolas will be in the bullpen.

Max Muncy is among the five candidates for the Final Vote.

It's a ragtag bunch of has-beens and wannabes, proving Yogi was right.

On the first day of June, he's in a virtual tie with Matt Kemp for the batting crown, both hitting .343.

Matt Kemp and Scooter Gennett.

Now up to .337 with tonight's 5-5 performance.
I'm currently in 3rd place in my 12 team NL only. I have Scooter at $3 with one year left. The Scherzer owner ($46) is near the bottom and announced he's selling Scherzer for the future.
Does my $3 Scooter get him? I'm going to find out.

I loved him coming into this year and thought the power was legit. The batting average is surprising.

I took over a team and inherited him so I did a lot of research on him. Almost everything I read said, "Well, there's no way he hits .295 again"

Literally everyone saw the regression coming and baked it in. Maybe we overlooked the possibility that Scooter is just good and maybe getting better.

Fun Fact: In that league, I'm getting 12/12/11/10 in the four quantitative batting categories, but just 2 points in BA. It's quite a trick to get that few hits and have them do so much good.

Hit his first two homers yesterday, the second a walk-off in the 12th, leading his team to its first two-game winning streak.

Scooter's a guy I'm annoyed I didn't get. I got him in both CBS and LABR; just happened to be very low on $$$ by the time his name came up in Tout.
