Goldy got hot too after my comment.  The boys of summer read the site!

He must have read this, Howard, before he launched a pair yesterday.

Randy Arozarena is the first player with no home runs, no stolen bases and 5+ caught stealings in a 20 game span since Dexter Fowler in May 2011.

Howard Lynch LynchMob

Seven hits, three over the fence, and eight ribbies in the last two games.

Arozarena went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 12-5 win over the Mets.

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The outfielder had tallied just seven hits in his last thirteen games before Saturday's strong showing at the plate. The lack of power, highlighted by Arozarena's having recorded three extra-base hits since April 28, is concerning.

Rays manager Kevin Cash suggested that Arozarena was held out of the lineup for Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Twins due to minor soreness, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. "He's just got some some hand, forearm, everything tightness, soreness," Cash said of Arozarena. "He likes to hit. So the only way to prevent him from hitting is to tell him that he's not allowed to go in the cage and not play him."

ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Cash intimated that Arozarena is getting a maintenance day, but his status nonetheless remains worthy of tracking heading into Opening Day. After a star-making postseason run for the Rays, Arozarena has yet to carry over that success to the spring. Through 12 games, Arozarena has slashed .250/.273/.313 with no home runs and a stolen base.

Another queue-jumper (imo) in last nights prospects draft (still ROTY eligible) - going 9th - but less surprising giving his breakout.

—The 35 pitchers are the fewest ever to make a Top 100. The previous low was 38 pitchers in 2009. It marks the continuation of a recent decline in the number of arms that make the list each year. There were 44 pitchers on the 2017 and 2018 Top 100s, 42 pitchers on the 2019 Top 100 and 40 pitchers on the 2020 Top 100.

—The number of shortstops, conversely, continues to grow. There were 14 shortstops on the 2019 and 2020 Top 100s before the increase to 19 this year. However, many project to move off the position.

—The 23 outfielders also represent an increase from recent years. Outfielders make up seven of the top 18 prospects overall this year, making it a banner crop of outfield prospects in terms of both upside and depth.

Me, I would never trade with the Rays. I just wouldn't.
