Also, if you ran a business, and you had a customer for three years, but then they took their business elsewhere, wouldn't you try to contact them to find out why they left?

Not CBS.

Am I supposed to be getting emails from CBS?  Because I'm not.

Another excellent reason to dump it.

Entirely consistent with our experience.

Here's another one:

Why don't the Stats pages at CBS have summary lines? It seems like a trivial thing to have a line at the bottom of the list of players and stats to show the totals, whether it's for yesterday, the last seven days, or the whole season.

Of course, when I tried to Ask CBS why they didn't have this natural piece of information, they said as a member of a league I had to go through my league commissioner to ask questions.

And when I used their Feedback form and asked them why, I got a friendly email that told me if I wanted a response to use the Submit a Question form they wouldn't let me access.

Very user friendly.

Dear Peter Kreutzer,

In my myfantasyleague football leagues, I could also no longer get notifications because of Verizon. I too had to switch to yahoo.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird as my email client, and with Yahoo they give the option to send emails right to Thunderbird. The same thing happened this spring in CBS. But now I have everything sent to yahoo, but yahoo sends it right to Thunderbird, so it basically comes out the same.

I have threading turned off in that account. Only one email, the Godley one, made it into any inbox. Or Spam.

I'll try sending it to Yahoo. It can't hurt.

Peter --

We had a situation earlier in the year where an owner couldn't get email notices at verizon.net but could get things through yahoo.

For me, on gmail, I get my notices stacked up in a thread if I do multiple winning bids in a week. Gmail can be goofy and suppress the text of the second message because it thinks the email is a duplicate.
