WAAYYY ahead of you on that one. First saw that kid when he was 7 1/2, dominating the 9 year old league.

Word is that his glove is a ++, but scouts are worried that his 'wiffle ball power' may never develop in the bigs.

I am writing you now from Colegio Adventista in Puerto Plata, where I have a ten year old who can seriously pick it.  And he's an S4!

You picked a good year to finish 5th, what with the new S4 rule and all. Now you've got seemingly forever to wait for the player to come of age.

If I were you, I'd start scouting Latin American elementary schools immediately.

Sweet!  We finished 5th!

Wait.  Who's the best minor leaguer out there?

I believe it's 5th - 12th, then 4th - 1st.

How does PCL reserve order go, again?

I'm game for mock auction. Did a mixed auction for the RotoWorld Draft Guide in February at RTSports.com. The mocks are free and the software was good. I'd recommend it.

If ESPN plays the league out, however, that might be fun (and informative). RTSports does not, unless you pay them.

Couchmanagers is set  up to do mock auctions, although I've never done one using their site so I have no idea how their software functions. If you want to give it a whirl and can get a group together, Andy, let me know and I'll gladly set it up for you.

Hey, can we do a Patton & Co. mock auction? The way I see it we'd only need two things: A place that would let us mock auction for free, and 12 people who have several hours to kill (actually, we'd only need 11, since I'd be in).

I love to do auctions, mock or otherwise, and several times over the past couple of decades I've shown up just do an auction for another owner, just for the fun of it. None of the online mock auction sites work, because people mostly just stick around for a few rounds and then leave.

So, is there any interest in something like this? Maybe it could be a 'thing'.
