Thanks for the lead in Alex, and it was great to finally meet you yesterday! It has been an amazing year, to say the least. The host (Rich Wilson) of the Podcast I've been a part of for the past five years, way back in February, did a promotion involving asking listeners to submit who they believed was going to win the World Series and why I should pick them to join me in a wager. Rich put up $200 and I split it into an AL and NL bet. Rich was in Vegas in early March and put $100 down on both the Angels and Giants to win it all. Needless to say, myself and the listener that suggested the Giants and every other year, are both $600 richer this morning. I really hope I saved a little bit of my good fortune for the Friday XFL draft, as I'm going to need it.

This may or not be the place to report that Tim made out like a bandit last night with the Giants' win.

I'll let him explain.

We will be cutting over to the new site very soon, quite possibly today. Please stay with us, winter faithful, and help us with the test drive. Ask us for any features that you want. Tell us about any that you don't want. Who knows here we will end up?

We want to be like the Royals.

Wow, simply wow. Put me down for a couple bucks Tex. We now have a two horse race at the top, with Perry and Buck separated by a mere 3.30 points. Perry crept past Buck back into first on the strength of the Matt Adams homer. Lynch did one better, owning both Wong and Taveras in closing to within 29 points of the lead and a solid grip on third place. In a case of be careful in what you wish for, my Bumgarner/Casilla duo, is also owned by Buck. It's going to be tough making up ground under those circumstances. I don't know who's doing the prognosticating for Game Three of the Cards/Giants Series, but you've got a really tough act to follow.

Peavey allowed 2 runs in 4 innings in the WS vs the Cards last year and got shelled by them in his Padres postseason days.

Lance Lynn is 0-4 with an ERA of about 7 in his career vs the Giants, incl. 2012 NLCS.

Both pitchers are throwing well right now and the ball isn't carrying that well at night in St. Louis and neither offense is really clicking so I don't seen this trend continuing to that degree.

I'm seeing a 5-4 Cards win with neither starter being involved in the decision.

I dropped my Magic-8 ball yesterday Keith and it's beyond repair. We're on our own for Game Two.

Not so logjammed today, when I could use an 8-5 Cardinals romp, with a Rosenthal save and homers from Wong and Peralta.
