Baseball America on Oct. 5:

The Indians are bringing 49 players to their instructional league, highlighted by the team's top four prospects: Nolan Jones, Tyler Freeman, Bo Naylor and George Valera. All six of Cleveland's 2020 draft choices—led by shortstop Carson Tucker—are in the group as well.

The most notable omission is shortstop Brayan Rocchio, who was also prevented by travel issues from getting back stateside from Venezuela for development at the team's alternate training site.

Beyond Rocchio, the other two prospects who are eligible but not included among the instructional league roster are Ernie Clement—who was at the ATS—and outfielder Oscar Gonzalez, who was not at the team's ATS this summer.
