Rotoworld:
06.04: Nolan Gorman is starting at second base and batting second in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cubs. (Gorman
returns to the keystone Saturday after launching a three-run homer as
the team's designated hitter Friday in his return to the Cardinals'
lineup following a three-game absence due to lower back stiffness. The
22-year-old rookie sensation has recorded an astronomical .361/.439/.694
triple-slash line with three homers and 10 RBI across 41 plate
appearances. Obviously, Gorman should be rostered in all fantasy
formats.)

Nolan Gorman (3B) STL - May. 22

Gordman went 3-for-5 with a double, a walk, an RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 18-4 win over the Pirates.
ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: Gorman knocked in the first run of the game with an RBI double. He also scored the next three times he got aboard in the blowout win. Through his first three major-league contests, the slugger is 5-for-10 with two walks, two doubles, an RBI and four runs scored. The Cardinals seem intent on getting him a look as the starter at second base, at least against right-handed pitchers, after he started the year on fire (.308/.367/.677 with 15 homers) at Triple-A Memphis.

Edman to SS and Gorman to 2b on Friday.

Edman can play in the outfield so one other option would be to bench Harrison Bader, move Edman into the OF and then slide Gorman into 2B.

Where does Gorman get ABs if they promote him? Dickerson side of the DH platoon? Too bad he can’t play short.

The first BA Hot Sheet...
5. Nolan Gorman, 2B, Cardinals
Team: Triple-A Memphis (International)
Age: 21
Why He’s Here: .351/.415/.838 (13-for-37), 10 R, 6 HR, 6 RBIs, 3 BB, 15 SO, 0-for-0 SB
The Scoop: Memphis traveled to one of the most hitter-friendly parks in the minors last week and Gorman took advantage in a big way. The hulking slugger homered in four straight games at Charlotte, all of them solo shots. That capped off a banner week that also included a two-homer game against Gwinnett and gave Gorman the early-season minor league home run lead.
