Let's hope this doesn't turn into the second half of Griffey Jr.'s career.  Guy turns thirty and hardly returns to the field for more than 100 games again.

Still no timetable for his return. It's looking more and more like he's going to miss the rest of the season.

6-8 weeks. The one season I have him and I've got him in all three leagues.  Time to figure out how early is too early to start making trades for next season.

Left the game with a strained calf.  Everyone takes a deep breath and holds it until the MRI results.

Four more true outcomes for Trout as he goes 0-for-2.

With his numbers in free fall, he's getting the day off today.

In another three true outcome day, his batting average drops to .376.

I notice ... every day!  (And that's the point!)

I've got a friend down in San Diego begging me to come visit and we'll spring for whatever it takes to get tix to see this guy live and in person ... special!

.426/.539/.820 ... I'd call it "unbelievable" ... but for Trout, it's very believable :-)

He returned from being hit on the elbow to go 4-5 yesterday. He's close to passing Mercedes in BAvg, but he's so far ahead in OBP and SLG that there really is no one else within shouting distance. Could this be the year Trout finally ascends? I'm just kidding. He's been the best player in baseball his entire career. If he puts up a ridiculous, Bonds/Ruth/Williams-type season, I doubt anyone would even notice.

Best home run call I've heard in a while: It is ... TROUT o' here!

PS. I'm hoping he continues to NOT steal bases ... makes it more likely he'll play 162 games ... and in the post-season :-)
