In his last seven starts he's been as good, if not better, than the three other starting pitchers today. In 41.2 IP, a 0.84 WHIP and 1.73 ERA.

Flaherty was good but Folty was better. Needed only 83 pitches to get through seven innings. Nasty breaking ball the Cardinals couldn't lay off. Only runner who got as far as second got there on an error.

But both FIP and SIERA caution that his ERA was -- if not lucky, considerbaly lower than it might have been.
