Questions about what's going on here.
Welcome! You are invited to wander around and read all of the comments that have been posted here at Patton & Co., but as soon as you register you can see the bid limits that Alex, Peter and Mike propose for each player, and you can post your own comments. Registering is free, so please join us!
Thanks everybody! Have a great season!

Lg1 = LABR prices
Lg2 = Tout War prices
Sort# = batting orders and pitching roles
Quick Memo = short notes that Peter and I think are important, including our sleeper picks
Memo = longer notes
In both fields you can add your own notes.
The Bid column is blank. You can fill it in quickly by selecting Lg1, Lg2, PK5, MF5 or AP4 as your starting point. Transfer Value lets you move whichever set of prices you prefer to the Bid column.
All of these prices add up to standard league budgets (12 AL teams, 13 NL teams, $260 per team).
The next step is to enter the salaries of players that are frozen in your league in place of the bids.
Now the prices don't add up. There's extra money to spend.
Distribute this money on a case by case basis to the available players. Do not distribute it evenly; target the specific players that you really like or need.
When the prices add up, you've adjusted for inflation. You're ready for the auction!
