2.8% HR/FB rate ... and only about 11% IFFB.   How is that possible with today's juiced ball, considering a guy who has had a modicum of pop in the past?

OTOH, I wouldn't bet on reproducing that BABIP in the future ...

Carpenter, Wong, and Gyorko are all having horrible STs.

For Carpenter, it doesn't matter.  For Gyorko, it makes me hedge on that second half explosion.

For Wong, I'm wondering if he's going to need some extensive re-working of his approach if he doesn't want to turn into Casey McGehee

Another weak effort in Florida yesterday, going 0-for-4 against the Braves. He's slashing .167/.250/.167 in 13 games while being thrown out twice trying to steal.
