WShapiro traded Pompey to me. But I have him on my bench. I'll probably promote him tomorrow because I'm in a tussle for steals, but then I'm hoping to climb up into fifth and avoid dropping into seventh. (Fifth gets first pick in the reserve rounds, which includes all minor leaguers who aren't bought in the auction for $10 or more, so it is something.)
N.B. Walter paid $11 for Pompey, a huge overpay, but is only 9 points shy of winning every category in 12 team 4x4.

So far today, Dalton is 3 for 3 in the 7th. A little late I'd say

Why did I believe the scouts on Dalton Pompey? (Cost me a wasted $11). And I forgot about the prescient recommendation from BGWoodman back in early March.

One of the great non-buys of 2015. Wish I had bid 1. Instead I spent my last buck on Weeks, which turned into months of yuck.

Dalton Pompey's competition for the CF job, he's a bit of an overachiever. The scouts scoff. He's all hustle and grit from what I hear, though I haven't had a chance to see him. Nevertheless, Pompey is very green, Toronto's OF is very thin, and this guy has made a minor league career out of hitting it in the gaps and stealing a few bases. He will probably cost more than $1 if he looks to break camp with a job, but the ideal scenario is he's slotted as a platoon guy or a 4th OF to start the year.
Steal him in the endgame or the reserve rounds and see how things shake out
