Rotoworld:

09.29: Jeffrey Springs allowed just three hits in six shutout innings, but didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Guardians. (Springs
was outstanding, but he left with the Rays leading by just a run, and
Tampa Bay gave up two in the eighth. The right-hander didn't walk
anyone, and he struck out five in another impressive outing for the
30-year-old. If Tampa Bay doesn't make alterations to the rotation,
he'll take a 2.45 ERA into a start against the Red Sox on Tuesday.)

Rotoworld:

09.07: Jeffrey Springs tossed three scoreless innings in a short start Wednesday against the Red Sox. (It seems that this was planned, as the Rays want to try to manage Springs' innings a bit going into October. He wasn't having any issues tonight, as he threw just 39 pitches to get his nine outs. Of course, he didn't
factor into the decision, but the Rays improved to 13-6 in his starts.)

Five near-scoreless IP against the punchless Yanks. Fairbanks, Raley, Armstrong and Adam finish it off.

You've heard of them.

Rotoworld:

08.04: Jeffrey Springs was charged with two runs (zero earned) over six innings on Thursday in a win over the Tigers. (Springs
surrendered only four hits and limited the Tigers to just a pair of
runs in the third inning. He recorded six strikeouts and didn't issue a
walk. The unheralded 29-year-old lefty has blossomed into a viable
mixed-league contributor this season for fantasy managers, recording a
sparkling 2.50 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 83/16 K/BB ratio across 79 1/3 innings
(22 appearances, 14 starts).
