I merged two Ian Anderson's -- again. Maybe tomorrow we'll get his stats.

I took over a team from AndyPro who had two minor leaguers of the type I would NEVER keep -- a $15 Jazz Chisholm (struggling but stealing) and a minor league pitcher $5 Ian Anderson. Well, I probably wouldn't be flirting with the money if it wasn't for the 2020-statless-here Anderson.

Goes to show that you aren't always right.

Thanks for the merger.  Still need his 2020 stats

I merged two Ian Andersons. Hopefully tomorrow.

Stats aren't showing for him?

Passed another test for a rookie hurler:  bounced back big after his first rough outing.

We should get his stats tomorrow.

In today's prospect report from Baseball America...

Atlanta Braves

—Righthander Ian Anderson made his third big league start and struggled with his command and control in a loss to the Marlins. The 22-year-old Anderson walked four and struck out four over three innings before reaching a pitch limit and getting pulled. He’s struck out 18 in 15 innings, and the opposition is hitting just .164.

Wed, Aug 26 - Making
his major league debut, Anderson carried a no-hitter into the sixth
inning and finished having allowed just one run on one hit and two
walks in the Braves' 5-1 win over the Yankees on Wednesday.

The Yankees' lineup isn't at full strength, especially with Aaron Judge
sitting out the first game of the doubleheader, but that doesn't take
the shine off of this sterling debut. Anderson had not allowed a hit
until Luke Voit smacked an opposite-field home run with one out in the
sixth inning. It was the only base knock he permitted on the day, as he
walked two batters and fanned six. Anderson got 12 swinging strikes,
with eight of those coming on his changeup. It's not always going to be
this easy for the top prospect, of course. He has had control issues in
the minors. Still, Anderson has loads of potential and needs to be
rostered in all leagues. The 22-year-old is lined up to face the Red Sox
in Boston next.  (Rotoworld.com)

Ian Anderson, RHP, Braves -- The next in the Braves’ endless wave of young arms, Anderson reached Triple-A last season and is knocking on the door to the majors this year. The Braves No. 3 prospect tossed three perfect innings in his start against the Orioles on Tuesday. He induced three groundouts, two popups, two flyouts and two strikeouts in the dominant effort, lowering his Grapefruit League ERA to 1.59.
