Liam Hendriks was frozen, too. I took Nick Anderson for 3 and Jordan Hicks for 1. There will be plenty of saves available in our March draft who will cost nothing, and plenty of money spent here will prove to be in vain.

As good a place as any to kick off today's Closer Chronicles...
Los Angeles Angels – The Angels joined the “opener” trend, starting Hansel Robles on Sunday against Seattle, but the main news was another bad outing by Cody Allen, who allowed a home run and a walk to the two hitters he faced before being yanked for Luis Garcia, who picked up the save. After five scoreless outings to open the season, Allen has now given up runs in four consecutive outings. Brad Ausmus might not be worried, but we are.
Hierarchy remains: Allen | Buttrey | Robles.

I think it's Skaggs day to go. With him on the shelf, Barria is the innings eater, but I guess the lineup wasn't setup for him to face the top 3 in the order to start the game.

From yesterday's Fangraphs Bullpen Report: "Hansel Robles represents the arm with the most likely chance to pitch the ninth if Allen needs a day or two off from the role." Not exactly. Robles is serving as the Opener today.
