The Padres are planning to compete? They're deluded.

Rotoworld is reporting he has made the opening day roster. A victory for those who hate teams playing the service time game (like Alex and Rotoman), and a defeat for those who now have to use up $15 auction dollars instead of getting him for free (like Alex and Rotoman)

Spring training stats on the Ides of March:

.211/.318/.421 in 19 ABt

3 BB, 6 SO

0 SB, 1 CS

It says "hot ST start" in QMemo in yesterday's update. Hard to keep up with everything.

Life happens ... Tatis Jr., who is hitting .318/.400/.727 with two home runs in 22 at-bats, will be out of action for a couple days after getting his wisdom teeth taken out.

The bat flip did it. Tatis has moved up to being the No. 2 prospect in baseball.

Baseball America unveiled its top 100 prospects today.

Others -- and there are many others these days -- may have a different idea who No. 2 is. There's no disagreement about who's No. 1.

BA rolled out its top 10 prospects today. No surprise who's No. 1.
