A one-man gang for the Royals last night. Three of the team's five hits, knocked in both runs, the second with a homer in the top of the ninth, the score tied. In his last 18 games Hosmer's hit .456.

chased up to $21.  Still only 25, but given the lack of prime bats around him you would think some caution in order for a 1B who has never hit 20 HR or driven in 80 RBI.  I guess age and the floor is high...
