More precisely from RoWo: "Hinkse has seven hits in 21 at-bats (.333) since joining the Yankees on June 30 -- five of them have been home runs."

Kept him for a buck for this year.

5 HR for a pittance of FAAB. Hinske is the gift that keeps on giving. He's already outproduced half the endgame guys.

The $400K makes me think those A-ball players the Pirates got might actually be prospects.

Think he'll like the new launching pad? Hinske may be a fine FAAB pickup if you need a few swats.

None for me this year, unless he can somehow get a few wins and saves.

The Bronx awaits. The best part of this deal? The Pirates had to eat $400K of his salary to complete the deal...with the Yankees. Good stuff.

Mike, that's because of all the blue chip talent ahead of him in Pittsburgh.

As the 20th reserve pick in the CBS Sportsline expert auction, Hinske's once again proving to be the Rodney Dangerfield of Rotisserie.
