Holy Cow!  Just noticed that the most expensive pitcher on the winner of NL Doubt Wars was a starter on the Rockies!  (German Marquez)  Well played, sir!

Congrats to Ichiban.  I was 3rd in overall NL this year after finishing 5th last year.  Gunning for 1st in NL next year.  Peter, thanks for managing this. It's a fun game.

PS - no reason to look at my mixed teams - nope, nothing to see there.  :-)

Doubt Wars is played in multiple leagues. Once the additional teams were figured in Doubt NL was no longer a tie. Final results are posted here.

Looking back I see that I didn't respond to the totally reasonable expectation that I would merge leagues, but it isn't all that simple and so I decided to leave well enough alone.

Thanks for playing!

I imagine Peter will do that as soon as we get the last update out of the way.

Yes, my wife's team is the other active one in NL2.  They should definitely merge the two for simplicity's sake!

I have a team in the NL2 Doubt league. There is only 1 other active entry. Should our 2 teams be moved to NL1? Or does it matter?

Here's my finalized NL Doubt Wars roster. My philosophy was to go with versatility and at-bats on offense, and get pitching on the cheap focusing on guys with 'stuff' who are cheap because they don't have immediate great roles.

C: Contreras (14) Posey (15)
COR: Josh Bell (18), Desmond (19), H. Perez (6)
MID: Marte (14), Seager (20), Tatis (7)
OF: Puig (28), Dahl (23), Braun (15) Polanco (11) A. Jones (6) Almora (4)

Starters: Pivetta (15) Foltynewicz (13) Urias (7) Strahm (7) Samardzjia (4) Weaver (3)
Relievers: Hicks (7) Edwards (2) Holland (1)

Barring injury, my offense should rock and roll across the board all season. The pitching will either kill me, or get me just enough to compete.
