Typical of Manfred to try to tie expanded playoffs to expanded DH. Props to Tony Clark for not buying.

Peter, in his Rotoman Special, takes a deep dive into the Statcast numbers, concluding that Dom will not hit .300 this year. And he points out a very straightforward stat that I, for one, hadn't noticed. Dom finished second in the majors in doubles.

Dominic Smith was the Not Mookie Betts. When Dom hit the ball at least 300 feet, he was not disappointed. He did this a total of 18 times in 2020 and ten times he rounded the bases.

Nine of the ten were far from cheapies. Two of his homers traveled between 380 and 400 feet. Seven went farther.
