Three more whiffs last night (3 AB, 14 pitches). At least he hit a line drive the one time he's made contact.

Domingo was hitting .304/.383/.502 at Oklahoma City before his call-up and seems destined to add to his count 'em stats there that Tim mentions.

Only three strikeouts in his first game. He looks like a major leaguer.

Chris Carter working on being an Ex-stro? Someone's gotta go, eventually.

The 'Stros are showing off that stash of young talent and bringing up another young bat in Santana today. 13 homers, 52 RBI, 5 thefts, and a .304 BA at Triple-A Oklahoma City should be warranting of a pretty decent chunk of what's left of that FAAB.

An awful lot of folks in the sabermetric community have thought Ruben Amaro, Jr to be a joke ... now it seems to be infecting the larger baseball community ...
