I'm working on Big Prices for the Guide. Today I have Daniel Murphy with a price of $14. What do you think?

Big win for the Cubs over the Brewers as Murphy joins the club and adds a pair of singles.

Looks like Rizzo was late to the dumping party.

Phillies just walked Soto to get to Murphy with game on the line in the 8th. He made them pay.

Nice quote from A-Rod in the booth. "No one has a slower heart beat than Daniel Murphy.

He won't keep hitting .107, but he basically became a "no draft" for me when I saw the word MicroFracture.

He's hit 10 line drives and 7 of them have been caught.

Seems to be doing some things differently at the plate to favor the knee.  Doesn't look like himself at all thus far.  As a Nats fan and Murph owner, I'm concerned.  I had microfracture surgery myself a few years back, and didn't feel 100% for a full year.  Of course, he just returned, he had no spring, and I'm no pro athlete.

Well, they won't lose the 34 year old Murphy until sometime during the 2019 season ...

So if they lose the 34 year old Murphy the Nats are in trouble because they'll be depending in large part upon 34 year olds?

The Nats are among the eight teams who are "wheezing and gasping" as we get ready for another pennant race? So says Tyler Kepner in the Times today.

NATIONALS There‚Äôs enough talent in Washington for the Nationals to contend for a while. And with their willingness to defer money, they just might find a way to retain Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy as free agents after this season. But Max Scherzer and Ryan Zimmerman will be 34 by then, and if they do lose Harper and Murphy, the Nationals might have missed their best chance for a title.

Me, I think he overlooks the quality of the opposition, at least in their division.
