In this day and age, how often does a team get shut out over a full 9 innings (Pirates) and only strike out twice?
**EDIT**
Well...I had to go all the way back two whole days to find the last time it happened (TB, when they were no-hit!). Pitch-to-contact making a huge comeback.

Even more surreal: the Reds have a two-game winning streak.
Rotoworld:
05.12: Connor Overton fired 6 1/3 scoreless innings Thursday in a win over thePirates. (Overton became the first Reds' pitcher to complete six innings in 32 games this season, which is pretty surreal. The 28-year-old righty wasn't overpowering, but managed to limit the Pirates' lineup to just seven baserunners (three hits and four walks) and also struck out one batter. He'll carry a pristine 1.59 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 8/6 K/BB ratio across 17 innings (three starts) into a road outing Wednesday against the Guardians.)

Though no fault of Brubaker's, ultimately.

Reds win! Reds win! Reds win!

If I had a bookie, I'd put some money on the Reds tonight.
Overton held the Rockies to one run over five innings in his debut, in Coors, and will be cranked to beat the team that let him go over the winter. His opponent is the very hittable JT Brubaker. And, of course, the team that let him go is the Pirates. The Reds, playing at home, are the underdogs, which happens when you've lost nine in a row and 22 of 25.
Wait.
I don't need a bookie.
