ugh. at least I've still got the Poche K's. Now we will see where Mr. Poche goes from here. The Yanks seemed to know what to do with a one-pitch pitcher. I suppose everybody else was watching.

Everything was going so well.  Then, Yankee Stadium happened.  27 Ks in his first 17 1/3 with a 4.15 ERA and 0.69 WHIP.  $4 in both formats before Yankee Stadium happened.  Let's see how it looks tomorrow.

Doesn't have great velo (92, 93) but, with one out and the bases loaded in a tie game in the 8th, it looked like he'd be able to strike out Laureano with high fastballs.

Threw a 2-2 fastball down the middle. Rays are down by four.

He's an interesting player to put a buck on in the end game if he makes the team.  If he doesn't, he's a good injury replacement when the Rays start mixing and matching in the bullpen.  Could be an opener against teams with lefties at the top of the order even though I remember him doing well against righties.

Colin Poche, LHP, Rays. Poche's invisible fastball was working yesterday. He struck out three of the four batters he faced.
