Big big fly in the 8th to beat the struggling 'Stros. The Angels are only 3 1/2 back.

He cleaned up last night. The 1-2-3 hitters were on base five times and he drove in all of them in a 5-2 win.

Two big flies in his first three times up tonight. The Angels are a whole different baseball team if this guy can hit.

Hoping for some cheap power.

Drafting on Halloween is just ridiculous!
That's what we did in the XFL, out at the Shandlerfest in Phoneix. Peter and I froze Cron (while letting Arcia and Betances go).
Here's the latest from Rotowire.
C.J. Cron (1B) ANA - Feb. 19
Cron underwent wrist surgery in the offseason but is no longer limited in any way, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: The wrist presented some issues for Cron in September and he quietly had it repaired over the winter. However, he's reportedly back at full strength, so it doesn't sound like anything that could force Cron out of the Angels' primary DH role to begin the year. Once Josh Hamilton (shoulder) returns, Matt Joyce will likely move to DH, perhaps relegating Cron to a bench role.
