Cron vs Fuentes right? He's certainly interesting going to the Rockies. I haven't updated my hitters since he got signed so I'm not sure where I'd put him.
Does Cron feel like the kind of guy who could hit 30+ HR with a decent BA this year for a team?
He does to me.
The question then is tomorrow night how much will it take to find out.
Half of his hits last year did not help his BABIP. All but one were for extra bases.
Throw in more walks than hits and he gets an OPS+ of 139 while batting below the Mendoza Line.
C.J. Cron (1B) COL - Feb. 15

Cron signed with Colorado as a non-roster invitee Monday.
ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: There may be no better way for a fringy player to suddenly become fantasy-relevant than by taking up residence at Coors Field. Cron will have to prove his health in camp, as knee surgery limited him to just 13 games last season. If he does that, he has a good chance to carve out a significant role, with Josh Fuentes and Greg Bird currently lined up as his top competition at first base. Cron has looked like at least a low-end regular throughout most of his seven big-league seasons, hitting .257/.312/.464 (110 wRC+) overall.
