Through age-23 Harper's career appears to be on track to go with the greatest of all-time or the greatest guys who were almost hall-of-famers, but flamed out.

Andruw Jones, Justin Upton, Ruben Sierra, Jose Canseco, Frank Robinson, Mickey Mantle, Tony Conigliaro, Juan Gonzalez, Ken Griffey Jr., Cesar Cedeno.

After Gonzalez was called out at home in the second inning last night, Harper tweeted, "He was safe! Replay system still broke..Same thing all year long! (hashtag)DontMessItUp."

Do you think he changed channels when the debate started?

Now has a 20/20 season which ends up as a major disappointment no matter what he does in September.

My theory on low avg combined with extremely high walk rate. Veteran pitchers go after hitter, young and inexperienced pitch carefully because of hitter's rep and past success.
