A great all-around game on the day he was named Player of the Week.

I got him two weeks ago when someone else with more money took my first pick, Seth Brown. Willie Mays Hays -- we'll call him that for the rest of this week anyway -- has got me within two points of first. To close the gap he just needs to keep getting three hits a game. A few over the fence would be appreciated.

He should conserve his energy on the bases.

Another victim of head first sliding ...

Hays will undergo an MRI within the next couple days after injuring his left thumb Saturday, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.  Hays sustained the injury while sliding into a base Saturday during a minor-league game.

In all seriousness, Joey Rickard is who I would expect.  Dwight Smith has a chance.  By the end of April I could see Hays or Diaz, whoever has a better start in AAA.  By the All-Star Break, I'd like to see Hays in RF, Diaz in LF, Mullins in CF, with Mancini at 1B or DH and Trumbo on waivers.

Who's on first.

So who's the RF?

Only tiny defense of the O's decision to send down Hays. The Orioles have a jammed 40-man roster and a few non-roster players like Eric Young Jr. who might make the team. Since Hays was in Baltimore in September 2017, I think this is more punting hard decisions on the 40-man roster than service-time manipulation. That said, I still think it's the wrong move.

You should be able to get Trey Mancini.  He's earned decent money the past two years in our game.

I'm not sure I can name any Orioles outfielders.  That Mullins guy, right?  Who else?  Lowenstein?

He just went from $8 to #4 on my reserve round board, not that it matters, as I pick 10th and he could easily go #1.
