Gallardo does need surgery and they say he'll be out 4 weeks. Could be a good buy lower opportunity, but it sounds like rain on your parade. |

Rotoworld is reporting Gallardo might have torn cartilage in his right knee. If this is true and he needs surgery, that would put him on the DL for a couple of weeks to begin the season. That could affect his bid limits with several owners, but I would still not let him go for anything less than $15. |

I agree Gallardo has that chance. On the other hand, he's thrown exactly 110 innings so far, and is baseball age 22 this season; still a youngster. If I'm not mistaken, this bid limit, which may change, reflects youth. Make sure someone pays at least $16, and make sure you set a limit on your tolerance for risk. BTW, while I like the Brewers, keep in mind that you are asking Sheets to stay healthy for an entire year (good luck) and we watched this same exciting young team go in the tank. They are a young, talented team, but they are flawed. |

There is NO WAY anyone will get him for $16 unless he blows it in Spring Training. He has a chance to be a premier pitcher for years to come. The Brewers have a great, young, and powerful club this year. If they stay healthy (Sheets) and their young players such as Corey Hart play up to their level, watch out. |
