Is it time to think about adding Freddie Freeman to the database?

While Glaus continues to flounder ... Freeman's last 10 games in AAA:

37 AB, 4 HR, 5 BB/5 K, .324/.405/.757

That's a damn nice streak for the International League.

June 1 isn't that far away. I'm thinking Glaus' leash is not going to be very long for very long.

Glaus should reward any owner who pays under $10. If all goes well, and that is very hard to assume, he should have 25/89//265/with 68 or so runs.

Not bad for under $10.

Amen brother Gene, that's the true description of risk management.

I saw his game too, Shawn, and God help me but he just moved up several slots on my 3B list. Batting cleanup, at least he'll produce until he tears that something. The shallower the league the better the bet.

The $3 bid is based on the idea that he will tear something before the end of spring training. If he breaks camp healthy he's definitely worth more.

I about sobbed when I found out that Yahoo has given Glaus CI eligibility and nothing else. So much for my alternate 3B plan in a very deep league I'm playing in.

I saw his third AB while watching the Atl-Phi game on MLB Network this evening. A pitch came in tight on him but he powered his bat around and made solid contact, lacing the ball for a single. The AB looked solid. He went 3 for 3 for the day.

He still looks worthy of a bid despite not being 3B eligible in many leagues. I'm hoping for solid profit if I can get him for $3.

Signed a one-year contract with the Braves for $1.75 million.
