Agree on both counts with Peter -- yesterday, before the rains came, both the Giants and Rockies were basically using their opening-day lineups, and Smith was there batting second.

LABR and TOUT went for about 15, so these prices are wrong. Still, I don't like him in the mid teens. Not enough AB, doesn't run, not a big BA. I'm upping my price, but not enough to buy him.

...and at the start he'll play against (most) lefties too, that's what Tracy says and when Jim makes up his mind it lasts for at least 2 weeks.

Don't think you will get him for these prices. The overall numbers dropped last year, but he is still going to be starting in RF for the Rockies vs. righties (career .285/.363/.513 vs. RHP). If I can get him at $6, I will be very happy.
